[email protected] is excited to be part of the Social Enterprise World Forum (SEWF) 2019, which takes place on 23 - 25 October 2019 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
In particular, [email protected] leads a session entitled "Impact Investors Matchmaking: Addressing Africa’s Funding Gap through Domestic Capital" that specifically targets financiers. The session's objectives are to explore the role of local philanthropy and non-profits in the social entrepreneurship space with a special discussion about how to mobilize domestic capital, understand the importance of mobilizing local capital for local social enterprises, and facilitate introductions between local and international organizations in order to build opportunities for further collaboration in future.
The [email protected] session at the SEWF 2019 takes place on 24 October 2019 and is by invitation only. The Network partners with the Africa Business Group, Sankalp Forum, IFAD and the British Council for the organisation of the discussion.
